Abstract
The primary objective of this study is to examine the impact of talent management practices on employee performance in Bangladesh, specifically in selected private-sector organizations. A structured questionnaire with open- and closed-ended questions was used to collect primary data and gain a comprehensive understanding of the impact of talent management practices on employee performance. A study of 35 top- and mid-level executives from various firms was conducted using purposeful sampling. The investigation used a five-point Likert scale. The data were analyzed using the correlation coefficient, descriptive statistics, and a t-test. The study’s conclusions indicate that talent management improves overall employee performance. The study suggests that the talent management idea be applied to all employee categories within the company who possess a particular talent, and that businesses separate their talent management strategy from the company’s broader human resources management approach. The government should encourage private companies to adopt talent management practices to support their business development and employee satisfaction. The study’s practical implications include the potential to develop a new skilled workforce, secure financial gains for businesses, and contribute to the positive outcomes of the national economy.
